Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership offers undergraduate programs in the following areas:

Elementary Education

The Elementary Education undergraduate degree program offers two concentrations. Students can choose the middle school concentration, which leads to licensure in grades K-6 and endorsements in two middle school content areas. Students can also choose the early childhood concentration, which leads to licensure in grades K-3 and early childhood/preschool education (Nursery through grade 1).

Secondary Education

The Secondary Education undergraduate degree program leads to licensure in grades 7-12 in several content areas, including biology, chemistry, English, mathematics, physics, and social studies.

Secondary Education

Special Education

The Special Education undergraduate degree program prepares teachers to teach children and youth with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and other areas of exceptionality, and leads to endorsements in the area of specialty selected by the student. This program provides licensure for grades K-12.
